Welcome to My Personal Website & Research Log

Welcome to my personal website and research notebook!

I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science at UC Riverside (December 2024), and I am thrilled to share that I have started my Ph.D. in Computer Science here at UCR, advised by Dr. Hung-Wei Tseng in the ESCAL Lab.

What I Work On

My research interests lie at the intersection of computer systems architecture, heterogeneous computing, and parallel algorithms. Modern GPUs have evolved from pure graphics pipelines into massively parallel compute beasts, packed with specialized hardware units: Tensor Cores, Matrix Engines, and Ray-Tracing (RT) Cores.

In particular, I am excited about investigating how dedicated hardware pipelines designed for spatial queries—like BVH traversal and ray intersection engines in NVIDIA OptiX—can be repurposed to solve challenging, irregular data processing tasks in data science, bioinformatics, and graph analytics.

About This Site

I built this site to share:

  • Updates on research papers, preprints, and open-source implementations.
  • Technical write-ups and deep dives into GPU systems, CUDA programming, and algorithm optimization.
  • My latest Curriculum Vitae and Resume, maintained in LaTeX and automatically compiled to PDF.

Feel free to browse around, check out my CV, or connect with me on GitHub and LinkedIn!
